Andaman Island Odyssey
Tucked away in one corner of the Bay of Bengal is an archipelago of island called the Andamans. Here are pristine islands of tropical forests lightened jewel like on the velvet blue of the sea, perfect for a holiday on its golden mangrove beaches. The Andaman and Nickobar groups of 293 islands stretch over 700 kms. Rich evergreen rain forests abound the island, which have abundant bird life and a multi colour under-water world of sea life. The water in exotic shades of green, blue and turquoise is like a sheet of clear glass through which one can view the coral beds. 
The local Islanders or the tribal people are aboriginese who have Negroid features. 

Day 1 : Port Blair 
Arrive Port Blair from Calcutta or Madras by air. Transfer to hotel. Half day city sight-seeing tour of on thropological museum which displays the tools, models habitats, art and handcrafts of the aboroginal tribes, the marine museum where over 350 species of sea life are carefully preserved. Harbour cruise of Rose Island and Viper islands, once used to harbour convicts. Evening son-et-lumiere at the cellular jail, the Bastille of India, a relic of bygone days. Overnight at Port Blair.

Day 2 : Port Blair 
Depart in the morning for Mt. Harriet by boat surface. Drive up to the peak of Mt. Hamlet at 1200 ft to get a kaleidoscope view of the whole of Port Blair. 2 hrs drive to Middle Strait passing through tropical forests and tribal area enroute pausing to view lumber operations by elephants. Evening at leisure on the beach. Overnight at Port Blair.

Day 03 : Port Blair
Full day tour of the national marine park including tour of Redskin and Jolly buoy group of picturesque stands offering exotic coral and marine life. Its virgin scuba beaches and crystal clear waters are ideals for snorkeling and diving. Optionally at leisure for sunbathing or basking the sunkissed beach. Overnight at Port Blair.

Day 04 : Neil and Havelock
Morning motor boat cruise to Neil and havelock Islands. Day free at the beautiful sandy beaches. At leisure to explore the lush green forest or underwater coral life. Overnight at Neil.

Day 05 : Cinque Islands
Boat cruise to the beautiful underwater coral gardens and unspoiled beaches of north Cinque islands. Great place to swim, snorkel or for scuba diving. The hillock provides a fabulous view of the isolated island, submerged corals and the scintillating sunset. Overnight at Neil.

Day 06 : Port Blair
Morning free in the lush mangroves surrounding the island. At leisure at the picturesque beach and creeks. Later arrive at Port Blair. Check into the beach resort. Overnight at Port Blair.

Day 7 : Fly Port Blair / Calcutta or Madras / Delhi.

Day 01 : Cochin
Arrive Cochin. Meeting assistance upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. With one of the finest natural harbours in the world, Cochin was one a major center for commerce and trade with the British, Arabs, Chinese, Portuguese and the Dutch. 

Day 02 : Cochin
Morning sight seeing of Cochin including Dutch palace, Jewish synagogue, Chinese fishing nets. Afternoon is at leisure.

Day 03 : Cochin - Agatti - Bangaram
Morning flight to Agatti (Lakshadweep). Your first tantalizing glimpse of the islands is from the comfort of the Dornier 228 aircraft which flies you in to the magical isles. As you fly in over the atolls-each wrapped in its own lagoon, there is an exhilarating by boat to Bangaram (1.5 hrs).

Day 04 : Bangaram
There are no scheduled activities during your stay at the resort. All the days are at leisure at 128-acre Bangaram Island fringed with an endless sandy beach. Among the variety of options available are swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, catamaran sailing, deep sea fishing, rafting and kayaking etc. to name a few.

Day 05 : Bangaram 
Full day at leisure.

Day 06 : Bangaram - Agatti - Cochin
Morning transfer by boat to Agatti Airport to connect flight to Cochin. Transfer to hotel in Cochin.

Day 07 : Cochin
Day at leisure in Cochin. Evening transfer for to airport to connect flight for onward destination (hotel checkout 12.00 hrs)
