After a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (9,300 ft), the trek begins through the trails that wind slowly downwards to touch the Dudhkoshi River passing through fragrant forests of juniper, blue pine and fir. This trek through Sherpa-land offers an insight into their unique mountain culture and lifestyle. Known for their feats of courage and endurance on the world's highest mountains, for their understanding, hardiness and sense of humour, the Sherpas are indispensable in managing treks. Between 12,000 ft and 14,000 ft birch and rhododendron trees predominate. On the way the rare musk deer, the national bird of Nepal -the colorful Daphne pheasant, the Ghoral, the Himalayan wolf and the black Bear and endangered species like the snow leopard, the red Panda are sometimes spotted. 

Day 01 : Kathmandu 

Arrival in Kathmandu. Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to your hotel. 

Day 02 : Kathmandu 
In the morning take a walking tour of old Kathmandu City following the old path across Vishnumati River to Swayambhunath. In the afternoon visit the two-tiered golden temple - Pashupatinath -the holiest temple for the Hindus and Bodhnath -the largest Buddhist stupa. 

Day 03 : Kathmandu 
Full day visit of Patan and Bhaktapur, the two ancient capital cities of Nepal with their royal Durbar Squares.

Day 04 : Kathmandu - Nagarkote 
Drive to Nagarkote (34 km / 1.5 hrs) (Alt 2100 m), set on a ridge above Kathmandu with a panoramic view of the great Himalayan peaks including Annapurna, Fishtail, Everest and Kanchendzonga. 

Day 05 : Nagarkote 
Local walks in the Nagarkot area. 

Day 06 : Nagarkote - Kathmandu 
Walk to Banepa and drive to Kathmandu. 

Day 07 : Kathmandu - Lukla 
Transfer to Kathmandu airport for your flight to Lukla (9,300ft.) You will be met by your guide and porter. Continue on a four hours walk to Phakding (8,600ft). 

Day 08 : Lukla - Namche Bazaar 
Trek for 6 hours to reach Namche Bazaar (11,300ft) 

Day 09 : Namche Bazaar - Thyangboche 
A 5 hours trek will take you to Thyangboche (12,700ft.)- a great cultural and religious center for the people of the Everest region.

Day 10 : Thyangboche 
Free day at Thyangboche to explore the area and the Thyangboche monastery. Views of major peaks of Mt. Everest (29,028ft.), Lhotse (27,932ft.), Nuptse (25,764ft.), Ama Dablam (22,343ft.) and Cho-Oyu (26,900ft.) from here are simply awe-inspiring. 

Day 11 : Thyangboche - Jorsale 
Trek 6 hours Irom Thyangboche to Jorsale (9,200ft.) via Syangboche village. 

Day 12 : Jorsale - Lukla 
Walk 5 hours from Jorsale to Lukla. 

Day 13 : Lukla - Kathmandu 
Fly back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 01 : Kathmandu

Day 02 : Kathmandu 
Full day tour of Kathmandu city including Durbar Square which is also called Hanuman Dhoka named after the monkey god where a stone statue of Hanuman is placed right next to the main entrance protecting the whole palace; Swayambhunath stupa built in 250 BC, Patan -the capital city of Malla dynasty with many beautiful monuments built between 15th and 17th century and Tibetan Refugee Camp. 

Day 03 : Kathmandu 
Full day tour of Bhaktapur -the city of devotees, founded in 889, in the shape of a conch shell, Pashupatinath -the largest and holiest Hindu Temple Bodhnath -the huge Buddhist stupa built during the 5th century. 

Day 04 : Kathmandu - Chitwan
In the morning drive to the Royal Chitwan National Park (145 km/41/2 hrs.). At the park boundary naturalist will receive and drive you to your jungle lodge. Game viewing in the afternoon. Thanks to the extensive and effective park and reserve system, Chitwan has managed to preserve more endangered species of flora and fauna than any other area. 

Day 05 : Chitwan 
Full day jungle activities such as elephant safari/jeep safari, dugout canoe ride, bird watching etc. In the evening witness a performance of Tharu stick dance or a slide show on the flora fauna of the Chitwan Park. 

Day 06 : Chitwan - Pokhara 
Drive to Pokhara. Check-in at your hotel. Afternoon at leisure in this beautiful hill resort situated in the central of Nepal, with its sub tropical vegetation of banana palms, citrus trees, rice paddy and mustard fields. Dominated by the Annapurna Massif to the North, the Pokhara valley is dotted with lakes. 

Day 07 : Pokhara 
Morning tour of Pokhara City and a boat ride on the Phewa Lake -the second largest lake of Nepal. 

Day 08 : Pokhara - Kathmandu - Back Home

Delhi - Jaipur
Morning tour of Old Delhi. It is a 17th century walled city with its splendid gates, narrow alleys, the enormous Bazaar. Visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat.Afternoon tour of New Delhi with wide tree lined avenues, parks and fountains surroundings the imposing government and state Buildings. Visit Humayun's Tomb, an observatory called Jantar Mantar, Qutab Minar, India Gate and President House. Leave for Jaipur (252 kms/5 hrs). Check in at the hotel. 

Day 03 :
Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amer Fort. Ascend by painted elephant up to fort with its huge gateways and pillared pavilions. It has a marble Palace, Temple of victory and Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors). Afternoon City tour of Jaipur. Visit City Palace and Museum. Nearby is the ornate Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds) which is five stories high and is decorated with delicate screens carved from stone.

Day 04 :
Jaipur - Agra
Morning leave for Agra (232 kms / 5 hrs). Stop enroute and visit Fatehpur Sikri, undoubtedly the best-preserved Mughal Palace City of all. Built by Great Akbar around 1570, he used the highest quality craftsman to construct the city only to abandon it some fourteen years later when it is said that the water system failed. Proceed to Agra and check in at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 05 :
Agra
Morning City tour of Agra, which was once the capital of Mughal India, and centre of great power and glory. Visit world famous "Taj Mahal" the monument of love immortalized in marble. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his Queen Mumtaj. Also visit Fort and Sikandra. Overnight Stay at hotel.

Day 06 :
Agra - Khajuraho
Transfer to airport to catch flight for Khajuraho. Arrival and transfer- to hotel. Khajuraho was Capital of Chandela rulers who ruled between 9th and 13th centuries. Today, Khajuraho has no more than 22 temples but enough to show the world its former glory. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07 :
Khajuraho - Varanasi
Morning visit the temples which are famous for erotic sculptures. Afternoon transfer to airport to catch flight for Varanasi. Arrive at Varanasi and transfer to hotel. Varanasi is most important place of pilgrimage for Hindus and the sight of devout praying standing water deep in Ganges. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08 :
Varanasi
Early Morning boat tour on River Ganges to visit Bathing Ghats, return to hotel for breakfast. City tours of Varanasi visiting various temples and noted Banaras Hindu University. Afternoon excursion to Sarnath. It was here that the Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon and set in motion the wheel of law of Buddhist faith. Overnight at hotel.
