The Indian Splendor tour offered by us is
designed to take travelers through wonderful journey of this magical land
called India.
This magical journey starts from taking travelers to the
world's greatest monument of love- the Taj Mahal, for the thrill of seeing
from close elusive tiger in Ranthambore National Park, soaking up the rich
heritage of Rajasthan while visiting its magnificent forts, vibrant bazars
and of course not to forget its royal cuisine. The journey will leave the
visitors with everlasting memories of culture, history and folklore they
wish to see from up close while visiting India.
Day 01/SATURDAY :
- After traditional welcome, completing registration formalities,
proceed towards boarding the train at Delhi and moving on to Agra
- Dinner on board
Day 02 / Sunday : Agra
- Arrive at "City of Mughal Splendour" Agra for visiting
exquisite Taj Mahal
- Enjoy champagne breakfast overlooking Taj
- Post Taj visit, feel free to do shopping or take optional tour to
Fatehpur Sikri/Itmad-ud-daulah
- Post lunch visit to Agra Fort
- Savor in-house culinary delights by having lunch & dinner on
board
Day 03 / Monday : Ranathambore
- Ranathambore - Jaipur – Start your day with
exciting game drive to Ranthambore National Park
- Lunch on board in-route to Pink City- Jaipur
- On arrival at Jaipur visit planned for Amber Fort
- Option of shopping for fine jewelry & textiles before exciting &
enthralling exhibition elephant polo match
- Champagne dinner
Day 04 / Tuesday : Bikaner
- Arrival at desert kingdom of Bikaner
- Optional excursion planned to Deshnok (Rat Temple) on Lalgrh Palace
Museum of Camel breeding Farm
- In afternoon visit planned for unassailable fortress of Junagarh
- Participate in camel-cart procession that is followed by sundowner
cocktails, barbecue and folk performance presented on sand dunes
Day 05 / Wednesday : Jodhpur
- Enjoy relaxed breakfast on arrival to Jodhpur
- As optional activity visit local village or relax on-board
- Enjoy walking tour of Old Clock Tower Market and continue to majestic
Mehrangarh Fort
- Savor dinner at exclusive venue
Day 06 / Thursday : Udaipur
- Admire splendid surrounding landscape as you enjoy breakfast on board
while you arrive into City of Lakes, Udaipur
- Visit planned for City Palace & Crystal Gallery
- Experience hospitality over royal lunch
- Proceed for optional "Walking Tour" through Old Market or
visit Vintage Car Collection of Royal Family
Day 07 / Friday : Balasinor
- Visit Dinosaur Fossil Park (One of largest in world)
- Go for a village visit post which lunch meeting arranged with Royal
Family to relish their exquisite cuisines
Day 08 / Saturday : Mumbai
- Arrive at Mumbai and bidding farewell to Maharaja's Express after on
board breakfast

Chanrges
There will be supplement charge of USD 500 per pax travelling during the
tour falling on New Year eve and Christmas.The supplement charge will be
applicable for child between 05-12 years also.Supplement charges may be
applicable for certain signature journeys as announced by IRCTC from time to
time.
Child Policy
Maharajas' Express does accommodate children but we ask parents to be
mindful of the sophisticated adult atmosphere we endeavour to maintain.
- Children below 5 years shall be allowed free, subject to sharing of
double bed with parents. This is subject to availability of double bed
at the time of booking. However, this is not recommended by us.
- Single child (5 years - 12 years) sharing cabin with adults - 50% of
the adult fare, subject to sharing of double bed with two full paid
adults. This is subject to availability of double bed at the time of
booking. However, this is not recommended by us.OR Single child (5
years - 12 years) in a separate cabin - 50% of the (adult fare +
Supplement charges) if requested in a separate cabin.
- Two child (5 years - 12 years) in a separate cabin - 50% of the
adult fare for each child in a separate cabin on twin sharing basis.
- Three child (5 years - 12 years) in a separate cabin - 50% of the
adult fare for each child subject to sharing of double bed. ORIf
third child request in a separate cabin - 50% of the (adult fare +
Single Supplement charges)
- Single child (5 years -12 years) + one adult in a separate cabin: -
Two adults fare on twin sharing basis.
- Two child (5 years -12 years) + one adult in a separate cabin: - One
adult fare plus 50% of the adult fare for each child subject to sharing
of double bed.
- Child booking if requested in a separate cabin is subject to
travelling with the adults. It is to be noted that single child has to
share guide/vehicle with adults travelling together in case of Suite &
PS cabin booked pax. In case, a separate higher category vehicle is
required then supplement will be levied.
- Please note that we do not have the facility for interconnecting
cabins except in the Presidential Suite Car.
- All applicable taxes will be charged extra.
